In deadline order, here is a hot mess of funds I found in grant research today. If I take the time the make this into a nice newsletter I will probably miss some of these deadlines so here we go:

Deadline 11 September. Supports artists working in schools and education settings:

Freelands Foundation
Freelands Foundation champions art education. We believe in the intrinsic value of art and that making is fundamental. Our vision is to increase the status of art education, enable equality of access and promote material literacy.

Deadline 2 October but likely to close early, up to £1000 for artists over 30 struggling to advance their career because of money:

Oppenheim-John Downes Memorial Trust - funding for British artists, sculptors, writers, musicians and dancers: Homepage - Background and Awards

Deadline 18 October, up to £5000 for solo exhibitions and commissions.

Open three times a year to non-profit organisations - a gallery can apply on your behalf.
