Hugo Burge Personal Statement Writing Session: want some prompts and advice on how to draft your personal statement for Hugo Burge Foundation for their 31 July deadline for Creative Individuals (or indeed any other bid for support as an individual)? Join me this Thursday 23 July at 1:30pm for a 45 minute drafting/editing session. Writing about yourself is horrifically difficult so come get some help, encouragement, ideas and share your drafts for instant editing feedback. £15, maximum 4 people in the session. I've been mostly playing with kids because it's summer time. I can highly recommend Loch Insh for watersports and Linn Park Waterfall for Glasgow-based river swimming.
I'm mostly working on bids for Lottery Young Start, Robertson Trust and Amazon Regional Creatives who have a 2 August deadline. All worth considering if you are working with vulnerable young people.
